No matter what size of project, we have the expertise to work with you in creating a wayfinding strategy. This may vary from project to project but the process below will normally apply.
Meeting
After initial discussions we would agree specific objectives which the scheme should achieve, including any time and budgetary constraints?
Then submit a fixed price quotation for the preparation of the wayfinding scheme.
Understanding the routes
We would obtain plans to determine all the main circulation routes for both vehicles and pedestrians
Visiting site
We would walk the routes indentifying key places where decisions need to be made on which route to take. Photographs and critical measurements would be taken at this stage.
Meetings with all Stakeholders
We would hold meetings with all stakeholders to discuss their views and concerns and look at the best way to incorporate these into the scheme.
Initial designs
CAD drawings would be produced of a suitable signage system for the project. This may include colour coding of buildings and areas, or the use of letters to make the scheme as simple as possible to use.
Revisit site
Meeting with staff and any other people involved in the project to present our proposals, taking notes of any concerns. At the same time rewalk the routes checking on locations and accuracies of information etc.
Revised/Final designs
Submit scaled colour visuals for all proposed signage, superimposed onto location photographs for signing off and locating signs onto plans for ease of fitting. Including design and manufacturing specifications.
Quotation
Provide a comprehensive Bill of Quantities with a fixed and firm quotation for supplying and fitting all the signage elements of the scheme.
