Metro Bank was the first new high street bank to launch in the United Kingdom in over 150 years.

MG Signs were chosen to develop, manufacture and install the first prototype store and initial roll out.

We are extremely proud to be part of the implementation team for this very striking brand.

This project included:-

MG Signs were appointed to supply and install over 80 information, branding and directional signs at the Lynden Pindling International Airport to help it deal with a huge increase in passenger traffic.

This project involved manufacturing the signs at our factory in Northampton, shipping them to the Bahamas via the USA and sending our crews out to install these signs.

The external signs had to be designed and manufactured to cope with Category 5 Hurricanes which is sustained winds of up to 157 mph.

The project was completed on time, on budget and the client was delighted with the end result.

Following the success of this project we were asked to produce and ship over 200 signs to Africa for a similar project.

MG Signs were tasked with manufacturing and installing Greencores branding to their new multi million pound Facility in Northampton.

The branding consisted of a number of large built up 3D logos and letters fitted to various facades of the facility.

These were all manufactured in aluminium and carefully colour matched to the Greencore corporate brand guidelines.

The building is also finished in corporate colours via its clad exterior and the new signs complement the building perfectly.

Greencore were delighted with the finished result and subsequently awarded us the second contract for another building.

Oxford Brookes University wanted their brand to represent their personality as a modern, forward looking university.

The University brand has a wide variety of communications and it is important that Visual identity guidelines are adhered to in order to ensure that there is a consistency throughout.

Oxford Brookes decided they needed a sign company who understand the importance of interpreting the brand and applying the rules diligently across all materials and formats.

One of the challenges in the brand is the extensive use of CorTen steel which is designed to rust and serve as a protective layer, keeping the alloys on the inside safe from corrosion. And interestingly enough, the rust is just like human skin “The layer protecting the surface develops and regenerates continuously when subjected to the influence of the weather.”

Oxford Brookes chose MG Signs and with over 600 sign installations to date they are delighted with our service.

Manufacturing for the aerospace industry since 1950, LISI Aerospace is today a worldwide manufacturing specialist components used for the airframe as well as the engines of both commercial and military aircraft.

Expansion at the Rugby manufacturing plant exposed the need for new signs, initially to identify the new buildings and also to upgrade existing signs to reflect the modern technological heritage of the company.

Our customer explained:

“Having recently completed a multi-million pound expansion program due to business growth we wanted to enhance the external appearance of our site so the new building was connected with the existing factory.  From a number of potential suppliers we selected MG signs who designed and delivered our new signage to a very high standard, on-time and at a very competitive price.”

Visitors to Wymondham usually do their homework and want to visit the attractions that interest them.

It was clear that the Wayfinding signage showing the location of the attractions was poor. Many of these attractions rely on visitor numbers and entrance fees to help them with their funding.

Most visitors are keen to explore the town but it was clear the wayfinding system was not working so Wymondham town council realised that they needed to improve the overall visitor experience.

Following a tender process MG Signs were chosen to provide the solution. The project involved the complete design, manufacture and supply of:-

• Finger Post signs
• Double Sided Map and Information Totems

All managed and installed by our in house Project Management team and installed by our highly experienced and fully trained Installation Engineers.

The Little Italy brand is well known in the City of Glasgow however the signage was old and failing. MG Signs were given the challenge of coming up with a manufacturing solution to provide the same look and feel of the existing image but using the latest manufacturing techniques together with the craft based skill required to replicate the look and feel.

The requirement was for built up letters made to an intricate font with LED illumination providing a enhanced light line around the face of the letters. Each letter was handmade at our factory and the colours for each material and finish were meticulously matched to the exacting standards required by our customer.

Scania (GB) Ltd have recently updated their iconic brand introducing a newly refreshed logo and wordmark which is currently being rolled out across the business.

MG Signs were selected as a preferred supplier to provide Scania (GB) Ltd. with sign installation services, including the installation of concrete foundations. We provide an end to end service for Scania (GB) Ltd. in the UK to ensure their brand is properly represented and signage is installed to the highest standards.
