Shakespeare Centre

Shakespeare’s Birthplace is a restored 16th-century half-timbered house situated in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, England, where it is believed that William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and spent his childhood years

The Shakespeare Birthplace Trust needed some very high quality banners for the entrance reception of this popular venue.

The Shakespeare centre is devoted to portraying Shakespeare and in particular his early life. The finish on the banners needed to look in keeping with the Shakespeare era, reflecting a dark moody feeling and have an aged look.

MG Signs were able to provide a solution. The project involved the final design, print and installation of a number of vinyl graphics, column wraps and hanging tensioned banners, all supplied and installed to exact client requirements.

Printed Hoardings

As part of yet another major investment in London’s transport infrastructure, Transport for London have launched work on tunnels on the £500m Northern Line Extension from Kennington to Battersea Power Station via Nine Elms.

The Project

Hoardings are one of the most important ways of getting a message across. You can really capture the publics attention with high quality graphics and this is one of the best methods to generate early interest or to inform people of an important development in progress. The cost is comparatively small and the rewards can be huge.

MG signs were chosen to print and install over 700 meters of hoarding vinyls for this very prestigious development. Using our Screen Truepress W3200UV printer with roll to roll capability we were able to set up the print run, print this overnight and install it the very next day.

The end result being a very high quality printed graphic applied by our fully skilled installation engineers and managed by our very capable Project Management team.

Hilton Worldwide

Hilton Worldwide approached MG Signs to see if there was anything we could apply to the windows at their UK Head Office to reduce the excess heat that can make buildings hot and uncomfortable in the summer.

An application of solar control film by MG Signs was an efficient and straightforward way to tackle the problem. Using Solar control window vinyl’s we were able to provide a solution that reduced the excess heat by up to 80%, whilst still allowing natural light to pass through the windows.

Our solar film can be applied to existing windows and is available in a range of grades, shades and colours. Each film varies in appearance and performance.

We are able to install film internally and externally and are fully equipped with access equipment, allowing us to complete jobs at height or in difficult to reach areas.

MG Signs were also able to provide a complete report analysis of the results by using our heat reduction measurement tools for a before and after effect.

Hilton Worldwide were delighted with the results.

We offer working samples of each film type free of charge, allowing you to see first-hand how each product performs.
